Josh Benson Racing

Hi and thanks for checking out my site. 2009 is going to be a big year for me. It's my second year of driving competitively and I'll be racing in The British Formula Ford Championship. I've loads to learn and l'll be up against some of the best drivers in the UK and Europe. One thing you can be sure of is I'll be doing my best. As sponsorship was very difficult to source this year due to the credit crunch, I have been asked to become a development driver for DW Racing. I was delighted to be asked and although it means I have missed two rounds, I am just so grateful to be out on the circuits once again.

I've been working hard this winter to improve my fitness. I'm sure some of the people at the gym think I haven't a home to go to. Although I am not going to have the luxury of testing this year, I am still very grateful to be racing. I'm just starting out as racing driver and through this site and my Facebook, I'll keep you up-to-date with how I'm doing. There'll be ups and downs (not too many of those I hope) but there'll be laughs too and it'll give you a glimpse of what's needed to get into the fast lane.

Apart from doing well in this year's season, I'm already thinking about 2010 and making decisions early on. It is so important to plan ahead.
